Broken Hearts

Broken Hearts is a variant of the classic card game Hearts, designed for three players, with a slightly reduced deck, and a fundamental change to how tricks are won.

If you know how to play Hearts then much of this will be familiar, but some of the changes will also hurt your brain and feel confusing.  Trust us, it’ll be fun!

To play Broken Hearts, you will need a standard deck of playing cards, three humans, and the rules found below.
